Cusco sits at 3,400 meters (11,150 ft). We recommend arriving at least one day before the package starts to acclimatize. Drink coca tea, stay hydrated, and avoid heavy meals on your first day.
Comfortable walking shoes, layers for changing temperatures, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, water bottle, camera, and your passport (required for Machu Picchu entry).
