Percy Gonza
Co-Founder & Lead Guide
Percy has spent more than 17 years guiding travelers through Peru’s most breathtaking landscapes. A graduate of the Universidad Nacional de San Antonio Abad del Cusco (UNSAAC) with a degree in Tourism, Percy’s knowledge extends far beyond what any textbook can teach. He grew up walking these mountains and learning their stories from his family and community.
His specialties include Inca history and archaeology, ancient Inca architecture, gastronomic routes showcasing Peru’s world-renowned cuisine, and challenging adventure treks through some of the Andes’ most remote terrain. When Percy leads a tour, he does not simply recite facts — he brings the history of the Inca Empire to life through personal stories and deep cultural understanding that only a lifetime in the Sacred Valley can provide.

Juan Carlos Gonza
Co-Founder & Senior Guide
Juan Carlos brings more than 16 years of experience in Peru’s tourism industry, with a unique perspective shaped by growing up in the shadow of Machu Picchu itself. As a student at La Salle school in Aguas Calientes, the ancient citadel was quite literally in his backyard — an experience that instilled a lifelong passion for sharing its wonders with visitors from around the world.
After completing his professional training at ESITUR Internacional in Cusco, Juan Carlos honed his skills at two of Peru’s most prestigious properties: the Belmond Sanctuary Lodge at Machu Picchu and the Belmond Monasterio hotel in Cusco. He earned LQA (Leading Quality Assurance) certification — the gold standard in luxury hospitality — ensuring every guest receives world-class service. His experience spans tours across Peru and South America, from the Amazon rainforest to the Atacama Desert.
